Ruling party (NRM) optimistic about 2026 poll victory
The National Resistance Movement party NRM has revealed that the party now has 18.3 million members. This follows the recent registration exercise of party members, which was concluded last month. The party Spokesperson Emmanuel Dombo says there has been an increase in the number of party members from 10.7 million to 18.3 million, meaning 7.6 million new members joined the party. However, the National Unity Platform party Spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi has dismissed the NRM registration exercise results.
