Shadow foreign affairs minister asks gov’t to act on Ugandans detained abroad
The shadow minister of foreign affairs is calling on the government to offer support to Ugandans detained in Immigration centers in The United Arab Emirates and globally, saying that most of the Ugandans stuck in those countries need to access emergency travel documents. This follows media reports and over 1,000 Ugandans were denied entry into the UAE for visas.
