Tiktoker Elson Tumwine jailed, he's accused of offending President Museveni
Entebbe Grade One Magistrate Edgar Tibayeita Tusiime has sentenced Elson Tumwine, a third-year student at Makerere University, to two months in Kitala Prison on charges of offensive communication and computer misuse against President Museveni and Speaker of Parliament Anita Among. Tumwine was found guilty of accusing President Museveni of killing people in Mukura and stated that he needs to apologize to those affected, similar to the apology he made to Buganda region.
