Traders protest against URA’s EFRIS system
Business people and the taxman will, at the end of this month, face losses due to a disagreement between them, resulting in the closure of shops in the Central Business District today. The traders threaten that they could lay down their tools for the rest of the week pending the outcome of their Friday meeting with President Museveni. They stood outside the closed shops and business centers as the Police deployed officers around the city to offer protection to those who would be open. JACKSON ONYANGO reports...
