Uganda to get more charging ports for cars and motorcycles
Uganda is making strides in transitioning to electric mobility (e-mobility), thanks to the expansion of charging infrastructure. A shortage of charging facilities had initially hindered this shift. Electrifying Africa has launched an initiative to establish multiple charging stations nationwide, enabling individuals to own charging points in their homes. Currently, EV charging is free, and vehicles typically recharge in about an hour during daytime visits.
