23 Teams confirm readiness for university football league
In women's football, 23 Teams have been confirmed to participate in this year’s University football league due to kick off on the 17th of this month at various universities nationwide. The 23 teams were last evening grouped into six teams that will see only the top two teams from each group progress to the next round. Reigning champions Nkumba University is in group A alongside Busitema University, Islamic University in Uganda, and ISBAT. Uganda Christian University will host the opening game on 17th September with a yet unidentified opponent in group C.
