Rwenzori Marathon receives international certification
The 3rd edition of the Ruwenzori Marathon will be internationally certified by the World Athletics Federation, a first for Uganda. This comes after Gavin Wright, a route measurer from the World Athletics, visited and certified the route in Kasese over the weekend ahead of this year's Marathon in August. The Marathon is aimed at boosting tourism in Rwenzori and the country at large.
