Activists poke holes in manifestos of presidential candidates

A section of civil society activists say that the manifestos of this year’s presidential candidates do not address the challenges facing the education sector. None of the candidates have explained how they intend to resolve these issues. As Sudhir Byaruhanga reports, analysts believe the candidates need strong teams to develop research-based manifestos. Others argue that while some manifestos provide context, they only address a few of the current challenges.
