Catholic Church asks schools to nurture children well

And closer to home, the Papal Nuncio to Uganda, Augustine Kasujja, has called on school directors, head teachers and teachers to prioritise keeping children together and strengthening their religious foundation as one of the key ways to instill discipline and help them grow into responsible citizens. He made these remarks during a ceremony for First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and Last Commitment for Catholic children at Twinbrook Schools in Kiteezi. In his message, Kasujja emphasised that teaching children religion should not be the sole responsibility of the Church, but also that of parents and teachers.
