The National Unity Platform, through the Elections Management Committee, has scheduled a special date to accommodate all candidates who have expressed interest in vying for the party ticket for positions as Members of Parliament from various constituencies across the country.
Initially, the vetting process, which began on Monday, September 15th, was supposed to conclude yesterday. According to the EMC Chairperson, Harriet Chemutai, this decision was made to accommodate those who had an interest in running for legislative positions but were unable to participate due to reasonable circumstances. Vetting for MPs continues today.
