The Central Executive Committee (CEC) — the top organ of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) — has vowed not to tolerate any form of corruption or criminality within the party.
This resolution follows a wide range of reported malpractices during the recently concluded party primaries.
Meanwhile, the CEC has forwarded President Yoweri Museveni to the National Executive Council (NEC) for endorsement as the party’s National Chairperson and Presidential Flag Bearer.
Additionally, the CEC has recommended:

Alhajji Moses Kigongo as First National Vice Chairperson,

Rebecca Kadaga as Second National Vice Chairperson (Female), and

Anita Among as Second National Vice Chairperson (Female).
