Government releases public health students results

The Uganda Health Professions Assessment Board has released the first series of the UHPAB June 2025 semester assessment results.

Of the 12,570 final semester candidates, 3,366 qualified for the award of diplomas, which makes 26.8% of the enrollment.

A further 9,204 or 73.2% were candidates for certificates.

Of the 3,366 diploma candidates, 990 or 29.4% passed at distinction level, while 1,910 or 56.7% passed at credit level, 350 making 10.4 had pass level.

A further 110, that’s 3.3% did not attain the pass mark.

Releasing these results, the state minister for higher education John Chrysostom Muyingo directed inspection teams to ensure that available training facilities are sufficient for the learners.

The government is warning that it will not hesitate to close any training institution that does not meet the minimum standards.
