Government steps up to tackle real estate challenges

With a bold vision to shape the future of urban living, Uganda’s Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development is launching the country’s inaugural Real Estate and Housing Expo next week, an event designed to accelerate affordable, sustainable, and well-regulated housing across the nation. The three-day expo will bring together investors, developers, and policymakers to tackle urgent sector challenges such as rising construction costs, limited access to housing finance, and increasing climate risks.
