To build stronger, faster, and more coordinated responses to future pandemics, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), in partnership with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), has launched the Pandemic Response (PREPARE) Project — a US$31.9 million (approximately UGX 119 billion) regional initiative.
