Kasaija says every home should have a source of income

Rural household poverty will reduce once more and more people embrace various poverty eradication programmes, such as the Parish Development Model According to Finance Minister Matia Kasaija, productive households can be used to anchor the country’s economy. This was during the financial training of rural entrepreneurs who recently received Parish Development Model money in Karuguuza town, Kibaale District. Keynote speakers included Charles Ocici, Director General of Enterprise Uganda, who emphasized the importance of “turning capital into lasting wealth through skills, innovation, and discipline,” and Matia Kasaija, Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, who underscored the government’s commitment to uplifting rural households through productive use of PDM funds.
