State Minister for Sports, Peter Ogwang, toured the Hoima Sports Stadium, one of the facilities that will host the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. The stadium, which was scheduled to take 18 months to complete, is slated to be handed over to the minister at the end of October this year. The facility will be a fully-fledged sports complex when finished, featuring an indoor arena that seats 2,000 people, as well as outdoor game facilities such as basketball and netball courts.
