Uganda’s Naluwooza and Fadilah head to 2025 BWF worlds

Two badminton players, Tracy Naluwooza and Shamika Fadilah, will be representing Uganda in the 29th edition of the BWF World Championships to be held in France from August 25–31, 2025. Fadilah has qualified for the singles events, while in doubles, she will be pairing with Tracy Naluwooza, her long-time doubles partner. This will be their first time competing in the World Championships. In 2024, the duo represented Uganda and Africa in the Thomas and Uber Cup held in China. The players, along with their head coach William Kabindi, will be traveling to France this week.
