President Yoweri Museveni has urged Christians and members of the clergy to be exemplary in their actions and teachings so that others may learn from them. Meanwhile, the Kabaka of Buganda, Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, praised the Church for strengthening its influential voice in advocating for human rights and condemning evil practices. However, the Archbishop of Kampala, Paul Ssemogerere, appealed to political leaders to uphold unity—especially as the country prepares for the 2026 general election.
