His Highness Rahim Aga Khan V awarded the grand master medal

President Yoweri Museveni has applauded the work of the Aga Khan in Uganda towards the country’s social and economic development. He awarded His Highness Rahim Aga Khan V the Most Excellent Order of the Pearl of Africa (Grand Master), Uganda’s highest civilian honour, in recognition of his service to the nation and his leadership in advancing education, healthcare, and community development. This took place during the inauguration of the Aga Khan University in Nakawa and the launch of the construction of the Aga Khan Hospital.
