Nandala promises to empower rice farmers

The presidential candidate on the FDC ticket, Nandala Mafabi, has stated his intention to financially empower rice farmers in the Bukedi sub-region as a strategy to combat the long-standing poverty affecting its residents. Bukedi sub-region has one of Uganda’s highest poverty rates, with locals struggling to lead decent lives. Nandala believes he can make a difference if elected as the President of Uganda in 2026.
