Kabarole district authorities evict wetland encroachers

Encroachment on wetlands in Kabarole District has increased despite repeated warnings to vacate. Now, district authorities, backed by security forces, have begun evicting encroachers and destroying gardens in Wamikira Wetland, which connects the sub-counties of Harugongo, Hakibaale, and Rwengaaju.
