S4 examinations begin nationwide amid teachers’ strike

Senior Four students across the country began their Uganda Certificate of Education examinations on Monday amid an ongoing teachers’ strike. This has caused uncertainty over the supervision and administration of the national exams. A total of 432,159 candidates are registered to sit for this year’s UCE examinations. Candidates started with Geography Paper One in the morning and Biology in the afternoon.
