Uganda Airlines, through its Approved Maintenance Organisation, has started maintaining its aircraft within the country. On Friday, Ugandan engineers completed the replacement of one of the engines of the Bombardier CRJ900. The company says the capability of Ugandan engineers to perform such tasks helps the airline reduce the cost of outsourcing maintenance overseas.
