The presidential candidate on the FDC ticket, Nandala Mafabi, has pledged to improve the education sector in the Sebei Sub-region following decades of poor performance in national examinations. The Sebei Sub-region has consistently ranked last in overall national performance at all levels of national examinations. Nandala attributes this to poor teacher pay and inadequate financing of government schools.
