Mafabi faults government Chief Whip Obua for underdevelopment in Alebtong

The FDC presidential candidate, Nandala Mafabi, has castigated Government Chief Whip Hamson Obua for allegedly failing to promote development in his district despite having the capacity to do so. While campaigning in Alebtong District, Nandala expressed frustration with the state of affairs in Ajuri County, the electoral area represented in Parliament by Hamson Obua, saying the area does not reflect one where a top government official comes from. He pledged to prioritize road construction and improved healthcare services for the residents of Alebtong and Otuke districts if elected President of Uganda in 2026.
