Ssenyonyi rallies fellow MPs to speak up on arrests by security

The Leader of the Opposition in Parliament has called on the legislature to address the issue of their supporters being arrested, citing cases like Doreen Kaija and Waiswa Mufumbiro, which he deems unlawful. Joel Ssenyonyi’s remarks come at a time when the police, through its spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke, stated on Monday that all arrests were made according to proper police procedures for apprehending suspected criminals.
