LOP Ssenyonyi doubts new IGG can fight corruption independently

The Leader of Opposition in Parliament, Joel Ssenyonyi, says that although the newly appointed Inspector General of Government, Justice Aisha Naluzze, is qualified for the job, she will not achieve much because her institution is not independent from executive influence. Ssenyonyi adds that previous holders of the office have failed because, according to him, the executive is comfortable with corruption, and vice is entrenched in the government system.
