Uganda Cancer Institute stresses early detection as key to childhood cancer survival

In matters of health, while a cancer diagnosis in a child is still widely seen as a death sentence, the Uganda Cancer Institute says childhood cancer survival is possible if the disease is detected early and treatment is completed. Records at the Institute show that seven out of ten children with cancer never make it to treatment centres. Nobert Atukunda reports.
