US donates equipment to Uganda to boost border security and migration control

The US government, in collaboration with the International Organisation for Migration, has handed over equipment to the Ugandan government to enhance border security and migration management. The donation includes three double-cabin pick-up trucks and five Migration Information and Data Analysis System (MIDAS) mobile kits. It comes shortly after the US reached a bilateral deportation agreement with Uganda as part of its efforts to combat illegal immigration.
