Uganda steps up Agro-Industrialization,

Uganda is intensifying its efforts to boost agro-industrialization by promoting better farming methods, raising standards, and expanding value addition. During the 15th National Competitiveness Forum, the government emphasized that implementing targeted interventions could unlock the full potential of the sector. Notably, maize production has surged by 85 percent, generating approximately 244 million dollars for the country.
