Workers kickstart process to elect their lawmakers

Registration for non-unionized workers interested in participating in the election of five Workers’ Members of Parliament is scheduled to close at the sub-county level this Wednesday. The registration process began on Monday, and by Wednesday afternoon, non-unionized workers will have the opportunity to select 10 delegates at the sub-county level. These delegates will then proceed to the district level, where they will choose 10 regional representatives to advocate for non-unionized workers at the regional level.
