Rwandan golfer Celestine Nsanzuwera has emerged as the winner of the 2025 Johnnie Walker Uganda Open, a professional tournament, with a gross score of 278 strokes over four rounds at the par-71 Lugazi Golf Course in Buikwe District. The Rwanda Open professional golf champion played level par 71 to beat Kenya’s Njorege Kibugu, who came close to claiming the title on the final day. Round One leader Ronald Rugumayo of Uganda finally settled for 11th place with 291 strokes, just one stroke behind day-two leader Dismas Ndiza of Kenya, who finished tenth overall.
