Are families declining or changing? | MORNING AT NTV
Is the decline of families occurring or are they simply undergoing changes? This question continues to spark heated debates within our society. Some argue that while family structures are shifting, families themselves aren't in jeopardy. These individuals contend that family-related issues are temporary disruptions resulting from evolving social norms. This viewpoint is evident in the historical trend of DNA tests among Ugandans. However, such rhetoric, which references the biblical perspective on families, lacks an understanding of the family's socio-economic history in recent times. This has given rise to the idea within the church that there's a necessity to reinstate the biblical view of the family. Rev. Hillary Jaffu, Assistant Provost at All Saints' Cathedral Kampala, guides us through a path of spiritual reflection on family matters.
