Banks urged to fund innovation in software engineering
Science and Technology Minister Monica Musenero has urged financial institutions to invest in Uganda’s growing software engineering sector, which is addressing challenges in agriculture and renewable energy.
She criticized banks for labeling tech entrepreneurs as high-risk, leading to limited financing for the sector.
