DIGITISTING AGRICULTURE:Can technology replace extension workers?
Digitisation is now doing everything from delivering farming advice via text messaging to interactive voice response. It also includes smart phone applications that link farmers to media advisory content, farm inputs, and buyers. Is this proof therefore that these solutions are/could help reach smallholder farmers much faster than extension workers?
