Ministry launches $638M energy grants for sustainable access
The Ministry of Energy and the Energy Credit and Capitalisation Company have started disbursing grants and lines of credit to firms with interests in sustainable energy, and up to 638 million dollars has been made available. This initiative, being carried out under the project titled the Electricity Access Scale-Up Project, is aimed at ensuring affordability and access to clean energy solutions, especially for the majority of the underserved.
