SOLAR INVESTMENT: Gov’t, Total Energies develop 120mw project in six sites
The Ministry of Energy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Total Energies to set up solar plants that will generate up to 120MW of solar Photovoltaic (PV) technology. So far, six sites have been identified in the earlier framework including Kapeeka, Iganga, Tororo, Kumi, Bukedea, and Pallisa. Total Energies EP Uganda will undertake feasibility studies to develop these Solar energy projects.
