UGx 1.878tn agri- industrialization budget not enough
Policy experts at the Uganda National Farmers Federation, are urging the government to channel financing into critical areas of the agricultural sector, that will enable new innovations to increase production and that the recent Ugx 1.878 trillion shillings budget allocation for deepening agro-industry is a drop in the ocean. He was speaking during a meeting with the press, where the federation also announced a business-to-business fair, slated for the end of this month. The event is being organized in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture.
