At least 300-foot pilgrims start journey to Kitgum district
At least 300-foot pilgrims have started trekking to Mucwini Sub-county in Kitgum District to commemorate this year's St Janani Luwum Day. The former Archbishop of the Anglican Church, Janani Luwum, was murdered on orders of President Idi Amin for denouncing bad leadership. The day is commemorated every 16th of February. This year's celebration is expected to be graced by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
