Electoral Commission extends voter registration by 7 days
The Electoral Commission has extended the national voters' register update exercise for seven days, starting Tuesday, 11th February, and ending on Monday, 17th February 2025. After this period, the Electoral Commission says there will be no further extensions. Electoral Commission Chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama states that the extension is intended to provide an opportunity for eligible persons to register.
