Chef agrees to drop charges against his boss’ daughter
NTV has learned that Chef Mukesh Menaria, who was allegedly kidnapped by his bosses and taken to Tanzania, has agreed to drop charges against his boss's daughter, Vasundhara Oswal, who has been in remand after being charged by the Luwero Magistrates Court on October 5. The agreement was made in Dar es Salaam, where Tanzanian authorities transported the chef from the Mshaka border near Mutukula to face theft charges filed by his employers. The chef's son, Vishnu Menaria, arrived in the country yesterday to negotiate the release of Vasundhara Oswal in exchange for his father's freedom.
