Kampala-Namanve train returns to work after a year
More than a year after they were halted passenger train services from Kampala to Namanve have resumed. The line was closed for repairs in March last year. The first trips this morning had few passengers but the Uganda Railways Corporation hopes the numbers will rise in the coming days.The Corporation says Mukono and Kyengera will be served in the next phase.
