“Rebel” FDC party leaders to face the disciplinary committee
The President of the Opposition Forum for Democratic Change party Patrick Oboi Amuriat wants seven senior members of the party to appear before the party’s disciplinary committee to answer misconduct charges. Among the accused are Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago and Kira Municipality MP Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda. But Lukwago and some of his co-accused have scoffed at Amuriat saying he does not have powers to send them to the disciplinary committee under the party constitution.
