700 students in Jinja benefit from blind assistant software
Over 700 blind students in the Busoga region have benefited from the innovative blind assistant software that was introduced by the Uganda Communications Commission in partnership with Suzie Water in June last year. The software is intended to help students listen to notes and engage in practical lessons, which was a big challenge for them. After the successful deployment of the project, UCC and Suzie Water intend to extend it for six more months in various schools across the country.
