Africa’s leading young agri-tech innovators have spent the past week at Speke Resort Munyonyo, participating in a competition aimed at identifying and empowering entrepreneurs who are developing scalable solutions to address challenges faced by smallholder farmers.
Selected winners will receive a share of a $1.5 million catalytic grant, along with technical support to help scale their innovations and increase their impact.
Since its launch in 2021, the initiative has directly benefited 1.1 million people and reached over 400,000 smallholder farmers across the continent.
