Apac residents demand rehabilitation of crucial Alenga-kungu road
A section of residents of Aganga and Tarogali Parishes, in Ibuje Sub-county - Apac District - have protested the poor status of the critical Alenga-Kungu road that links the area to Masindi Port Ferry road. The 33-km road is in a deplorable state with deep potholes and gullies while other sections are flooded. Some motorists have abandoned the road which has made it hard for residents to access social services such as hospitals, schools, and markets. Residents from the two parishes blocked the road to express their anger.
