Business operators near Kalerwe market count losses after fire outbreak
The Police are investigating the cause of a fire that ravaged several shops in Kalerwe market, in Kampala, early today, destroying property worth millions of shillings. Luke Owoyesigyire, the deputy spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police says preliminary findings indicate that the fire may have been caused by illegal faulty electrical connections.
No death was registered in the inferno.
