Chefs commit to preserve, improve African cuisines
Participants of the African Chefs Gathering and Policy Convening on African Food Systems have called on African legislators to harmonize climate, agriculture, and education policies with indigenous food systems. The call is contained in a declaration issued after a three-day meeting held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, attended by chefs from 23 countries across the continent, lawmakers, and other stakeholders.
