Deputy Speaker says parliament has to clean its image
After months of denial and sweeping allegations of corruption and abuse of office against the leadership of Parliament, Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa has announced that they are ready to restore the institution's image. Tayebwa made this statement during the closing of the induction for the new session committee chairpersons, whose appointments were concluded on Tuesday. He urged the committee chairpersons to perform their duties with integrity.
