Former sex workers transform their lives with small businesses
A group of fifty-two former sex workers from the Teso and Bugisu sub-regions in eastern Uganda are earning from small businesses they have started after receiving help from a local politician. This change marks a significant personal transformation for these individuals and serves as a beacon of hope for others in similar situations. Through a door-to-door approach, these women are now using their experiences to highlight the dangers of prostitution.
